Heads of European land-related organisations agree on a unified approach

Posted on 03/08/10

The Presidents and representatives of ELRA, EuroGeographics, EULIS and the PCC met in The Netherlands on 14th July 2010 to share information about their respective projects and work plans, namely the CROBECO, LINE and ESDIN projects and the work programme of the Belgium Presidency of the PCC.

There was agreement that each in their own capacity might contribute to the work of each other and the heads of the organisations agreed to meet again in September to further their understanding of each other’s activities.

‘This is a great step forward for all of our organisations’ says Bengt Kjellson, Chairman of EULIS. He goes on to say ‘it means that all the projects can benefit from a more unified approach and the land registry organisations can be confident that the projects will be mindful of one another’s scope and goals’.
