• EULIS invited to speak at the EIPA

  The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) hosted a seminar on 28th/29th March entitled ‘From E-Justice to European e-Justice: Electronic Technology in the Justice Sector in the European Union’. The seminar attracted a group of lawyers, judges, data protection officers and representatives from Ministries of Justice across Europe.

• Spain joins EULIS

  The Association of Registrars of Property, Commercial and Personal Property in Spain (Colegio de Registradores de la Propiedad, Mercantiles y de Bienes Muebles de España) recently strengthened the EULIS team to 9 co-operating members.

• Kick Off involves 22 Member States

  EULIS held the Kick Off Conference for Project LINE on 21st September 2010. Over the next two years Project LINE (Land INformation for Europe) aims to deliver the next generation EULIS (European Land Information Service) platform.

• Heads of European land-related organisations agree on a unified approach

  The Presidents and representatives of ELRA, EuroGeographics, EULIS and the PCC met in The Netherlands on 14th July 2010 to share information about their respective projects and work plans, namely the CROBECO, LINE and ESDIN projects and the work programme of the Belgium Presidency of the PCC.

• Austria goes live in EULIS

  Austria is the latest country to connect to the EULIS portal. In June 2009 the technical work to connect Austria to the EULIS portal was completed and Austria is now live in the EULIS service. Austria – Bundesministerium für Justiz – is a founder member of EULIS with a service board position and involvement in the service since 2002.
